Who operates this service

RisingSign at risingsign.app is operated by RisingSign in Hong Kong. Write to us at support@risingsign.app any time. It works out your Sun, Moon and Rising signs and your birth chart from your birth date, time and place.

Data we process

Your birth date, time and place are used to work out your chart. The chart is calculated in your browser and your details stay on your device, unless you are signed in, which saves the chart to your account, or you buy a report; then we store them with your chart or report.

We also process your email address if you sign in or pay, account identity information from Google Sign-In, payment references from PayPal or Stripe (we never see your full card number), and usage and security logs.

Reports

To write a report, we send a text-writing service only the positions in your chart: signs, houses, degrees and aspects, plus an age group. We do not send your name, email address, birth date, birth time or birth place.

Why we use data

We use this data to provide and secure the service, authenticate accounts, process payments, deliver support and transactional messages, prevent abuse, comply with law, and improve reliability.

Service providers

We use Google for sign-in, PayPal and Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for hosting, databases, email and bot protection, Microsoft Clarity for anonymous usage analysis (fields where you type are masked, and it is not loaded for visitors in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland), and a text-writing service for reports as described above.

Retention

Saved charts and reports stay until you delete them or your account, so you can come back to them. Delete a saved chart from your account page, or delete your whole account or email us; data is then removed within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion by contacting us. We may retain records required for tax, fraud prevention, disputes, security, or other legal obligations.

Children

The service is not intended for children or anyone below the minimum age required to enter a contract in their location.
